QUALIFICATIONS: Accounting Degree. CPA Certification. Minimum of eight years experience with at least three years of supervisory experience in accounting personnel. Proven ability to implement and improve budgeting, planning, or accounting system and processes. Extensive knowledge of general ledger, budgeting, or planning software. Experience using Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook. Must have excellent analytical and organizational skills. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Successful candidate will be a self-starter, have superior work ethic, and conduct themselves with a high level of integrity. DUTIES: Effectively manage the execution of the Companys annual budgeting cycle. Requires: working with all providers of budget information to ensure they complete the activities that they are responsible for in an accurate and timely fashion; establishing appropriate structures to ensure all parties are able to successfully perform their duties; working effectively with Finance and Executive management to compile, analyze and adjust budget info in an efficient manner so that the final budget product presented to the Board properly presents our expectations for the coming year. Provide management over the utilization of the Cognos Planning software. Requires: Ensuring we properly utilize the Cognos planning software to deliver timely and effective budgeting capabilities to the user community; ensuring that we have efficient processes to move data through the system and that we maintain comprehensive procedural and control documentation of said processes. Team with other members of accounting Management to provide value-added internal reporting of actual vs. planned activities. Requires: working effectively with Accounting Management to change the current internal reporting activities to be more meaningful to operational management and to ensure that these activities are designed for staff to produce information effectively. Participate in Accounting Department management and performance improvement activities. Requires: working effectively with other members of management to create an environment of continous improvement in the performance of the Accounting Department. HOURS: 8 a.m. 5 p.m. - Client Data Analyst
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED. Must have excellent multi-tasking skills and have close attention to detail. Exceed, Footprints, Access, customer service and underwriting experience helpful. . DUTIES: Perform in-depth research necessary to maintain the Exceed Client Database. Process policy amendments for client address changes. These changes are initiated by Alfas policyholders, postal move reports, return envelopes, and undeliverable mail. Process Exceed returned mail. Research and cleanup duplicate clients. Change or correct customer/membership numbers. Correct client production errors and client issues. HOURS: Monday thru Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
