Spvr Financial Systems QUALIFICATIONS: Accounting Degree or IT Degree with experience in Financial Systems support required. Applicant should have a minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience with accounting personnel in technology environment.
DUTIES: Experience and proven ability in implementing and improving accounting or operational systems and processes utilizing project management skills required. Knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials, Business Intelligence experience a plus.

Distributed Systems Engineer I High School Diploma required. A Plus Certification (Preferable) Administration of Windows 2000, XP OS Duties: This employee will provide Level II support and maintenance for customers within the organizations desktop computing environment at the Home Office of Alfa Insurance. Incumbent will install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade all PC hardware, software and peripherals (printers, scanners, blackberrys). Occasional overtime and week-end work. This position requires a general knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems. Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with end-users and vendors. Must be able to maintain a positive demeanor under all circumstances. This employee will install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade all PC hardware and Software to ensure optimal workstation performance, and also determine end-users needs. By providing top-notch customer assistance, this employee will troubleshoot problem areas in person, by telephone, or via e-mail in a timely and accurate fashion. In addition, this employee will be responsible for the enforcement of policies related to computer security, anti-virus, disaster recovery, and systems standards. High School Diploma. APLUS certification on hardware or commensurate experience.
IT Systems Specialist III Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science; Masters degree or MBA is highly desirable. At least 5 years equivalent experience is acceptable. Certifications in Operating systems, Networking or Security discipline desired (MCP, MCSE, RHCE, CCNA, CISSP, GIAC) or commensurate experience. Expert knowledge of client/server infrastructure concepts, theories and application Good written and oral communications skills. Ability to interact and manage vendors. Demonstrated competencies in strategic and analytical thinking. Demonstrates ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with speed and efficiency is required. Experience in technical project management. Demonstrates ability to take a project through all phases of implementation as well as post-implementation follow-up in highly desirable. Experience in leading technical project team, staff training and/or supervision is highly desirable. Duties: Incumbent will provide expert consultation and execution in the evaluation, design, development, implementation and support of client/server infrastructure. Incumbent recognized as a technical leader and resource. Incumbent is often called upon to assist in the integration of client/server infrastructure with other technologies and business systems utilized within the company (Mainframe, Networks and Databases). Incumbent is responsible for recommending, implementing, alterations, and enhancements to management that will improve the quality of products and/or procedures. The candidate will demonstrate expertise in a large variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Billing Clerk QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED required. Must have good typing and communication skills.Must be able to communicate effectively with agents and CSRs.

Sr Accountant Qualifiations: BS in Business Administration with focus in Accounting, CPA designation preferred. At least three years experience in finance and or corporate accounting. Understanding of database and accounting computer application systems. Ability to effectively use office equipment (personal computer, adding machine, telephone) and experience with purchased general ledger systems. Knowledge of Statutory and GAAP accounting treatments, preperation of NAIC Annual Statements and GAAP reporting, internal control design and implementation, analysis of financial statements, and account analysis and reconciliation. Duties: Preparing and analyzing financial statement and complex financial schedules in compliance with GAAP, SSAP, & NAIC. Implementing and maintaining an appropriate control environment. Providing leadership through direction, guidance, and training.
Director of Horticulture, Greenhouse, Nusery, & Sod Divisions Duties: The director will provide service, leadership, direction and organization to the Greenhouse, Nursey & Sod and Horticulture producers within the structure and framework of the Alabama Farmers Federation, The director through organizational activities, promotions and marketing assistance aid producers in identifying problems, building programs that is responsive to producer's needs and providing a forum for discussion of their commodity interests. The director will serve as liaison between the Federation and the respective state and national allied organizations and agencies. This position also requires some overnight travel for various meetings. Special Training: Degree in Horticulture or closely related field, Incumbent will need some knowledge of Horticulture/Greenhouse, Nursery and Sod or general agriculture. Organizational leadership qualities and public speaking skills, and basic knowledge of computer skills.
